550th Parkash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Celebrated at BVM (USN)
The propitious occasion   of 550th Prakash Parav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, marked as the World Equality Day was celebrated with immense devotion and reverence at BVM Udham Singh Nagar. Bhartiyans were disseminated information about the life and teachings of Guruji and were inspired to lead a life of simplicity and humility. The members of  BVM Trust Sh. M.M. Bamba Ji (President), Sh. P.C. Goyal Ji (Secretary), Sh. Shubh Karan Jain Ji (Joint Secretary), Sh. Manoj Gupta Ji (Treasurer), Sh. O.P. Sabharwal Ji (Member), Sh. R. K. Behal (Member) graced the auspicious occasion with their benign presence . BVMites sought the blessings of Almighty, enchanting the virtuous paath of ‘Japji Sahib’ and ‘Shri Anand Sahib’. The Spiritual ambience of devotional bhajans ‘Satnam Shri Waheguru’ and divine Ardaas sparkled a religious fervour in the air. The soulful rendition of bhajan "Dhan Dhan Bhag Humare...." captivated one and all, linking them with the Supreme Power.  The Panj Pyaras recited the Mool Mantra. Mrs. Narinder Kaur (Co-ordinator) apprised the students with the values, morals, principles and teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji to lead a life of honesty and hard work. A quiz was organised for the students of class 9th and 10th based on the life and preachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in which Swami Vivekanand House clinched first position and Bhagat Singh house grabbed second position. The serenity and sanctity was doubled when the members of Trust, Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi along with BVM family relished langar together in the sacred environment, with the chanting of ‘Waheguru-Waheguru’ in the background.
 
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi extended her best wishes on this auspicious occasion and motivated the students to uphold the secular spirit of the Parkash Utsav by following the three guiding principles of the great guru ‘Naam Japna, Kirat Karna, Vand Chhakana’ and develop love for humanity.
